Forest habitat work is available roughly in the mid-Atlantic within a 4 hour drive of State College, PA and exact availability is dependent on the size of the project.

We are woods people to our core.  We have a diverse background with over 25 years experience across Pennsylvania and the region, extensively hunting, fishing, gathering wild edibles, hiking, mountain biking, and also performing habitat projects and citizen science.  

 

Our focus is a little unique as far as we know.  Our background allows us to relate to many perspectives and comes from real world experience.  Perhaps defining what we are not is helpful.  We are not timber harvest consultants, and we are not hunting food plot consultants.  We do not consider those a conflict, in fact, we can work alongside or under the direction of both.

Our primary focus is on the holistic health of the habitat, particularly on promoting conditions for beneficial native species (in contrast to noxious invasives).  We are major advocates of shrub and understory species that are keystone wildlife food and cover, but often ignored by timber managers.  

 

We are also big proponents of sustainability and planning.  We strive for rotational land management actions geared toward maximum efficient spatial use of acreage and continuous maximum benefit.
